University life is good but its also that final step before taking a plunge into the working life. Like most university's they try to shape the courses to reflect the actual marketplace and in my oppinion, QUT has done a good job at that.

I applied for QUT via IDP, although it did take them some time to get back to me on my application the whole process was relatively simple and once all was out of the way everything seemed to move really quickly as obtaining a visa a really simple affair.

I'm currently self supported and i've yet to come accross any financial assistance being offered by the institution for international students.

This course is basically heavy on practical application in my oppinion. Allot of the materials are easily available online so its accessibility would be my greatest compliment i'd give this place.

It did take a fair bit of adjustment in the beginning coming to a new country with the supposed authentic food not tasting quite as authentic as back home but you'll slowly adapt to this things and once out of the way you'd fine this place is such a great place to be with the climate particularly wonderful.

I understand that there are not many university's who offer this course and so it should make me very marketable in terms of getting a job. Not much supply can only mean good news for me.
