I enjoy the friends I have and the campus but I feel like I have been shortchanged by the new Melbourne Model. Be sure you understand that changes have been made and that new generation courses are very different from old generation ones and as long as you are aware of these changes in Melbourne Uni, you'll be more happy here.
It was generally easy to gain admission just as long as you met the entrance score requirements.

In the first year of this course, you're required to study two arts electives, one breadth subject, and one interdisciplinary foundation subject. As a result, you only truly get to do TWO subjects you really want to do and the rest is just out of requirement. In Monash, I would have been able to choose all four of my subjects according to my liking so although the qualityof teaching is good, I wish I wasn't wasting my time doing irrelevant subjects.
The campus is a city one but beautiful nevertheless. I have amazing friends. Part-time work can be hard to find because there are so many students in Melbourne. There are many clubs for international students.
