This program is available to students who demonstrate potential for, and wish to acquire expertise in the technical and production aspects of Design for the entertainment industry. Units are structured to provide training in the principles, techniques and processes required in designing for theatre, film and television. Students also attend classes in drawing, technical drawing and computer aided design.

Admission is based upon comprehensive interview and the submission of a prescribed project for evaluation. Students must have the following English Language requirements they include: IELTS an overall band score of 6.0, TOEFL minimum score of 550 including TWE of 5 (or a Computer based TOEFL score of 213 with an essay rating of 5 or better), TOEFL iBT 80 with no score below 20, GCE O Levels Grade C or better, WAUFP 50% plus pass in ELACS, TEE Pass in English or English Literature, International Baccalaureate Diploma Minimum Grade 3 at higher level for an English subject. Applicants from Bangladesh must have a High School Division Pass in First Division. Applicants from China must have Successfully Completed 1 year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution. Applicants from India must have Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent. Applicants from Malaysia must have STPM or A levels. Applicants from Pakistan must have Higher Secondary School or Intermediate Certificate pass in 1st Division. Applicants from Singapore must have GCE A Levels or equivalent and applicants from USA must have High School Graduation Diploma with SAT score above 1100 and a Maths and Critical Reading score above 400.
